Superior Country Club is situated in a lush little valley just north of town.
It is the home of the 1983 and 1984 Class B State Golf Champions.
It has tree-lined fairways that consist of a mixture of grasses. It features smooth, domed greens and plush rough that is deep in spots.
You will encounter some awkward lies if you're not careful with your course management. Water comes into play on 8 of 9 holes.
The most difficult hole is the 227 yard par 3 fifth. It is uphill to a domed green that is guarded by mounding on the left.
Superior Country Club is an imaginative layout that makes excellent use of the creek and the plateaued valley-scape.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 332 (Aurora). Go south on Hwy 14 about 53 miles to the point where Hwy 136 connects from the west (leading to Red Cloud). From that junction, continue south 2.0 miles on Hwy 14 to the unnamed road marked by a Superior Country Club sign. Turn left and go .3 miles to the entrance on your left.
