The owners of South Ridge bought the course while they were in college and have put a lifetime of care and effort into enhancing and maintaining a quality course.
The level bluegrass fairways and small pencross greens are in supreme condition. A scattering of full grown ash and hackberry trees fill the areas between fairways.
Narrow marshes front the 2nd and 5th greens.
The 7th and 8th holes are an exceptionally aesthetic and challenging combination. Both are long and heavily tree lined. The 8th fairway dips 15 feet down and to the left at 280 yards out from the tee, forcing an approach shot over or around a thick stand of trees.
South Ridge provides a scenic round.

Directions from Lincoln: From I-80, take Hwy 77 north 112 miles to the Hwy 129 interchange. Continue north 1 mile on Hwy 77 to 29th St. in South Sioux City. Turn right and go .3 miles to the entrance on your right.
Directions from Omaha: Take I-29 north 83 miles to I-129. Take I-129 West 3 miles to Hwy 77 North. Take Hwy 77 North from the I-129 interchange and continue as described above.
