In 1937 Schuyler took up a community improvement project of Dr. Sebastian Koory's and constructed a ballroom, park, lake, swimming pool and golf course.
The golf course is an aesthetic and challenging track.
Tall, old American elms line level bluegrass fairways that lead to raised bentgrass greens. The rough is seeded bluegrass. A new underground sprinkler system added in '91 has the course in very good condition.
The courses challenge lies in its tight fairways, many of which are paralleled by water.
The sixth is particularly tough with water down both sides of a narrow fairway.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 373 (Seward). Go north about 46 miles on Hwy 15 to the south side of Schuyler. Continue north a few blocks to Higgins Dr. (you will see a large building and two stone pillars marking the park entrance on your left). Turn left and go .1 miles to the parking lot on your left.
