Overton Golf Club is a level track right next to Hwy 30.
It has well conditioned, midsize greens that have subtle undulations. The fairways consist of a mix of grasses. The fairways blend with the rough which is mowed down for playability.
Hundreds of pines and cedars have been planted between fairways and come into play on most of the holes.
Overton's demon is the sunken marshlike streamlet that winds through the course, wet to the degree of recent rainfall. Currently the streamlet plays as casual water though it may be converted to a hazard.
Overton provides a relaxing round and is convenient to I-80.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 248 (Overton). Go north 3.15 miles on Overton Rd. to Hwy 30. Turn left and go 3.0 miles to the entrance on your right.
