Omaha's Miller Park Golf Course was renamed Steve Hogan Golf Course in February 2009. Mr. Hogan was Manager of the course from 1990 until he passed away in November of 2008. Steve Hogan created the Hogan's Junior Golf Heroes Program, which positively influenced numerous children.
Steve Hogan Golf Course is one of five par 3 city courses.
It is full of character and charm. The fairways are lush and the greens putt true.
The pond still fronts the 9th green, but you'll find that "Maybell" the legendary elmwood tree has been removed. From that tee, you must carry your shot 130 yards over the pond but "Maybell" will no longer block your shot.
You will find a relaxed community atmosphere in the clubhouse, and, if you're lucky, you'll find an old-timer who'll spin a yarn about pet squirrels Carl and Rocky who have moved on to that Great Course in the sky. Shoot a few soon in their memory.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 452 in Omaha. Go north on Hwy 75 about 5 miles to the Florence Blvd. exit. Stay right until you actually exit to Florence Blvd. Turn left on Florence Blvd. and go .7 miles to Redick Ave. Turn left and go .6 miles to the 30th St. traffic light. Do a very careful U-turn into the parks entrance on your left.
