North Bend's expansion to 18 holes in May 2001 has enhanced play.
For the original front nine, you can expect a brief, mostly level track that is in superb condition. Don't be fooled by the short distances, you must play crisply with your pitching wedge to score well. Water and trees come into play throughout the course.
The first hole is generally considered the big hurdle, with a fence to the right and a creek down the left side.
The new back nine is much longer and mostly level. There are many trees to guide play and water comes into play on 6 of the 9 new holes.
The 16th hole is a dog leg left across water. Lay up or just go for it.
The 18th hole is tucked in with trees in front and left with water on the right. Bring your longer clubs.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 405 (Waverly). Go north 41.3 miles on Hwy 77 to Hwy 30. Turn left and go about 16 miles through North Bend and over the railroad tracks on the west side of town. The course entrance is on your left.
