Scenic Antelope Country Club is just east of Neligh.
It is a wonderful course that seems to have been built with the average golfer in mind. Most of the fairways are extra wide, especially in the landing areas. You will encounter nothing but level lies on supremely cultivated turf.
If you do find the rough, you will be relieved to find thick low-cut bluegrass under your ball.
Water comes into play on five holes. However, the water is in play only for those poor saps that draw the ball or hit it too far - which doesn't include most of us.
The greens provide most of the challenge on the course as they are crowned and slick.
For a fair lie try Antelope Country Club.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 353 (York). Go north 23 miles on Hwy 81 to Hwy 92. Turn left and go 3 miles to Hwy 39. Turn right and go north about 52 miles on Hwy 39 to Hwy 14 in Albion. Go north 24 miles on Hwy 14 to Hwy 275 in Neligh. Turn right and go 3.65 miles to the entrance on your right.
Directions from Omaha: Follow Hwy 275 to Neligh. Look for the Antelope Country Club sign on your left about 2 miles east of Neligh.
