Loup City Golf Club is a fun course for golfers of all abilities. It lays out on a stretch of level ground on the edge of town.
The rough and fairways are cut about the same length and consist of a mix of grasses. The greens are midsize and have some pitch to them.
Long hitters may be tempted to swing for the green on the short par fours, number 4 and 5. However, caution is advised on 4 and 5 as out-of-bounds is deadly tight right on both holes.
An unfriendly moat complete with a sentry of five giant cottonwoods is positioned 40 yards short of the 5th green.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 272 (Kearney). Go north on Ave. 2 (through Kearney) and continue north as Ave. 2 turns into Hwy 10 a total of about 40 miles to Hwy 58 in Loup City. Turn left and go .6 miles on Hwy 58 North to the entrance on your right.
