Jim Ager is another of Lincoln's city courses. The course can get very busy during the summer and it is difficult to play 18 holes.
Jim Ager is unique to Nebraska golf in that it is a course designed for juniors. Often called Junior Golf Course, this is a great place for kids to learn the game. However, Jim Ager is as much fun for a 40 year-old to play as an eight year-old.
The course features a deep creek that comes into play on three holes. A wide variety of trees create a beautiful backdrop to your round and overhang narrow fairways.
Whether you want to give your kids a lesson, or you want a break from your driver, play Jim Ager, you'll be glad you did.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 397 (Beatrice & Lincoln). Go 1.1 miles south on Hwy 77 to Capitol Parkway (first set of lights). Turn left and go 4.7 miles on Capitol Parkway (as it passes by the capitol and Children's Zoo) to the entrance on the right. (Capitol Parkway joins with 'K' St. for awhile and then turns into Normal Blvd. just before you get to the course.)
