Hay Springs Golf Course sits beside the water tower overlooking the town. Each sand green has a rake pole which is topped by unique works of art. My favorites are number 9, which is a couple of pheasants, and number 8 a lone coyote. The greens are small and the fairways are non-irrigated, just like they were a few hundred years ago.

Directions from I-80: Take exit 59 at Sidney north. Take US 385 91.8 miles north. Turn right onto NE-7E, 5.4 miles. Turn left onto NE-87, 28.6 miles. Golf course is next to the water tower.
