A naturally shaped and aesthetically pleasing course, Southern Hills presents different challenges from the front nine to the back nine.
The front nine is defined by a tree lined creek and demands accurate shotmaking to small flat greens.
The back nine, opened in 1991, is open except for two ponds to keep you honest.
You will find natural rolling swales and undulations throughout the course. The par 3, 6th hole requires a challenging tee shot over a ravine and the tee itself provides an eagle eye perspective of the 2nd, 3rd, 7th and 8th holes.

Directions from I-80:Take I-80 to Exit 312 (Hastings & Grand Island). Go south on Hwy 281 about 18 miles through Hastings to Hwy 6. Turn right and go 2.5 miles to Southern Hill Drive. Turn left and go 1.5 miles to the entrance on your left.
