Lochland is a beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean course. It features bentgrass greens and rye grass fairways that are lush and smooth.
Despite trees, two lakes, and over 50 sand traps, the layout is playable for all. You will find mostly level lies in the fairways and not much trouble getting out of the seeded, manicured rough.
The 18th is Lochland's most notorious hole. It is a Pebble Beach type finishing hole with a long water carry from the tee that rewards those who bite off a big chunk of the lake.
John Daly bypassed the entire lake to the green-front fairway in a 1992 exhibition.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 312 (Hastings and Grand Island). Go south 12.1 miles on Hwy 281 to an unmarked road. Turn right and go .3 miles to the entrance on your left.
