The course is situated next to the scenic Central Community College, Hastings Campus (formerly the Naval Ammunition Depot). It opened in July 1999 as a new golf course.
The course design is nestled among old existing trees, which gives it the look of a mature course and provides beautiful scenery.
Most fairways are lined with trees and water comes into play on two holes.
Early morning or late evening play increases your chance of seeing the wild life that live near the course. This is a great course for golfers of all abilities.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 312 (Hastings and Grand Island). Go south 14 miles on Hwy 281 to the first stop light (North Shore Drive). Turn left and then right (on truck by-pass road next to the Spady car dealership) and follow by-pass road to Highway 6. Turn left on Hwy 6 and go 1 mile to entrance on your right. Located 1 mile east of Hastings on Hwy 6.
