Whitetail Run is a challenging wooded rolling layout that will make you think your way around the course. The trees and the views of the Platte are inspiring and make this course a joy to play.
Its excellently maintained greens are postage-stamp size that demand accurate approach shots. Holes 2, 5 and 7 have narrow, tightly tree lined fairways with no room for error. A unique feature is that the par 3's are long, averaging 188 yards, and the par 4's are short, averaging just 285 yards.
Partly overlooking the Platte, the 8th fairway holds historical significance as the Pawnee once put their dead to rest along the area.

Directions from Lincoln:Take I-80 to Exit 405 (Waverly). North on Hwy 77 about 41.8 miles (about 1/2 mile past the Hwy 109 interchange). Left at the road marked as the Hillcrest turnoff. Go 1.9 miles to entrance on right.
Directions from Omaha: Take Hwy 275 or similar route to Fremont; then Hwy 77 south, across the Platte River, turn right (west), go 2 miles to the entrance on right.
