Built in 1928, Van Berg Park lays just north of the Loup River dike on terrain that is very similar to it's big sister course, Quail Run.
The well conditioned fairways are level to moderately rolling with dips and swales.
Beautiful, towering elm and cottonwoods predominate the southern part of the course, with evergreens to the north.

Directions from Lincoln:Take I-80 to Exit 353 (York). Go north 53.4 miles on Hwy 81 to 8th St. in Columbus. Turn left and go .2 miles to the Van Berg Park entrance on your left. Veer left and go .2 miles to the clubhouse parking lot on your right.
Directions from Omaha: Take Hwy 92 West to Hwy 81 North to 8th Street - continue as above.
