Hidden Acres expanded to 18 holes in '96.The new nine flows well with the original nine and makes complete a fine layout.

The ownership has put much effort into creating an aesthetic and challenging layout. A dry tree lined creek bed, Swan Creek, bisects the west side of the course and comes into play on six holes.

The rough is manicured and the undergrowth is well-trimmed. The natural lay of the land and foliage were wisely left intact during construction.

From the mulberry tree that sets in the middle of the 7th fairway to the cattails that line the pond on the 9th, this course provides many scenic golf vistas.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 397 (Beatrice and Lincoln). Go south on Hwy 77 about 42 miles to Beatrice. Continue on Hwy 77 to Hwy 136 in downtown Beatrice. Turn right and follow Hwy 136 4.3 miles to a gravel road marked by a Hidden Acres sign. Turn right and go .6 miles to the entrance.
