Beatrice Country Club was transformed in 1994 from a scenic, well-conditioned 70 year-old layout to a scenic, dynamic, well-conditioned new layout.

The original tract encompassed only 80 acres and featured many tight target areas. The new configuration includes seven newly constructed holes and eleven rearranged holes from the original 18. The men's yardage increased by nearly 1,000 yards.

Water comes into play on six holes, and bunkers and traps are strategically placed on numerous holes. And five sets of tees challenge any golfer.

More changes in yardages came right before year 200 - so, particularly if you haven't played this one recently, don't miss Beatrice Country Club.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 397 (Beatrice and Lincoln). Go south on Hwy 77 about 42 miles to Beatrice. Continue through downtown Beatrice and go .5 miles past the Big Blue River bridge to Beaver Ave. Turn left and go 1 block to 8th St. Turn right on 8th and go .65 miles to the entrance.
