This course sits on farmland surrounded by tall conifers, elms and cottonwoods.

The layout features modern design with open contoured fairways and built-up greens edged by grassy mounds.

Wild Horse creek comes into play on four holes, most notably 8 and 9. You must hit a good approach on the 8th to get over the creek and around a greenside tree.

On the par 4, 430 yard 9th, the creek runs down the left side of the fairway and collars a green recessed into a cluster of trees away from the end of the fairway.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 55 (Sidney). Go north on Hwy 19 about 1 mile to Hwy 30. Go east on Hwy 30 about 2 miles to Hwy 385. Take 385 north 39 miles to Bridgeport and Jct. 26. Go west 16.8 miles on Hwy 26 through Bayard to the first gravel road past the cemetery. Turn left and go .5 miles to the entrance on your right.
