Ainsworth Municipal is west of Ainsworth on Hwy 20. It is a level track with a couple of tricks up its sleeve.
Its greens are in good condition but are hard to hold because many of them are crowned. The narrow fairways are made up of a mix of grasses. The rough is relatively full but not too deep, making for easy recovery shots.
The 2nd hole is a panicky little par 3 with a tee shot over a reeded marsh to a domed green fronted with sand and backed by a tree shrouded creek. The long dogleg 5th is rated the most difficult hole.
It has pine trees down the right side with out-of-bounds and a bovine pie littered field down the left side.

Directions from I-80: Take I-80 to Exit 257 (Elm Creek). Go north 134 miles on Hwy 183 to Hwy 20 in Bassett. Turn left on Hwy 20 and go a total of 23.7 miles (6.3 miles west of the Ainsworth water tower) to the entrance on your right.
